Ok Everyone

I have added some blogs of note to my page, now before anyone tells me anything about the last one I added let me say this. I am Pro-Choice I put a link to this page b/c I think everyone should see what some of these people are saying. I think there are plenty of mis-guided people out there who really don't know anything of women's rights or the right to choose. Please take a look at this blog...yes it will make your blood boil but that is why it is so important to read it. We can't keep ourselves locked away from the extreme-rights opinions. I happened to come across this blog somewhere and thought that it would be a good one to keep tabs on.
There was a post on there, that I couldn't even write a comment to b/c it upset me so much...see what you are in for.
Let me know what you think...this is a great way to start a discussion group which I am willing to participate in or start if anyone is interested.

On a lighter note please everyone enjoy the day tomorrow...eat too much, drink too much, watch football, you know relax!

Everyone have a peaceful day

You know... that guy's (& it must be a man) views are so extreme that at first my BS-o-meter was flashing warning that it may just be a sick parody. Unfortunately, the conviction with which he holds his beliefs becomes more evident as one reads his posts and discussions. In a word... he's a zealot. Fanatics of any religion trouble me, for they can find a way to justify any action, including violent ones, as the "Will of God." (Well... except masturbation. But maybe they should figure it out if only to blow off some hate-clogging steam and mellow out a bit. :-)

The funny thing is, I'm not as worried about these chaps as much as the more moderate folks who are just weak-minded enough to be swayed by their fear-mongering spewage. They are the ones the good people of the world need to reach out to. The nutty 15% will be who they are no matter what. Thank god we have a liberal nutty 15% to combat them head-on. :-) As for the 70% rest of us, we need to find our way through peace, patience, and compromise.

"Doctor Life" is a lost cause. He has gone off the deep end, broiled by a worldview based upon an angry, vengeful god. Imagine if an angry boss with a whip followed you around at work all day, threatening to beat you with it at every turn... that must be what every minute of every day in life is like for him. He must be suffering greatly, and for that, I pity him. How can one live life with a Bipolar God? I'm trying to think of my psycho bipolar ex-girlfriend with omnipotent power. *shudders*

I would like to think that someday he will come to realize that love (not his warped brand of love that beats, ridicules, and instills fear in his children, though) is the secret of life... and with this revelation, abandon his anger and hatred.

Doctor Life:

First off, this is an “agree to disagree” situation, for I know you and I won’t see eye to eye on a great number of topics. In my younger, feisty days, I’d have dropped the gloves and stirred the debate. But now I have little taste for it. And I also don’t wish to see a good friend’s blog turn into a battleground (even though she loves military history.)

Second, I’m still not convinced that you’re not a prankster pulling the legs of everyone who happens to come across your site. If so, hats off… you’re extremely convincing. If not, then I apologize (but you must realize that your particular brand of Christianity is… how can I put this kindly… “kooky”.)

I’m not calling your love of God extreme… just how your love transforms itself into your worldview. I’d be more than happy to briefly continue this discussion with you, but we’ll have to do it at your house, not Ms. Lolly’s. She’s the star of the show here…not you.

May peace be with you...

Gentlemen...I am willing to have discussions..if we would like to discuss a certain topic then lets. I just do not want this to turn into a battle, freedom of speech is a wonderful thing, let us not abuse it.
I enjoy reading other peoples comments even if I don't necessarily agree with what they are saying. It is called being open-minded. So let us all get along.
