Lost in this chaotic world

So I have felt a little like the world is crashing down on me. It has been a little overwhelming these past few days, ok it is more like a week. But there is SUNSHINE at the end of the tunnel. I have finally gotten, for the most part, all the sleep that I have needed...I am sure that I need more but I am functioning so that is a good thing.
Now that my brain is switched back on, and I am not running on auto-pilot; I feel like a real person again. This would be a good thing, at least I think.
So here I am, typing about how crappy my week has been. I don't really think that anyone wants to read this, so I am going to move on to more fun topics.

I am hoping today to buy some wings for my clubbin fun this coming thursday. You heard me right...I said wings. I am going all out and I can't wait. It has been a while since I went out and had more fun than I should. I am hoping that I will remember to take pics..b/c everyone has got to see this. I am not quite sure which club I will be attending....perhaps The Church, but I am currently on the search. Les is coming with me, of course!!! We always go clubbing together, just never seem to take any pics...hmmmmmmmm.
She is currrently in Seattle (lucky bitch) and I wish I was there too. Seattle is the place to be, esp. if you have a friend who is a DJ.
Anywho...these are my tentative plans for the week coming up. They might change, but the clubbin will be there!

In other news...I need everyones help. We need to convice Gabe (my man) to start his own myspace music site. He is a jazz musician and he is currently writing his own music. What better way then to have your own site where people can listen to your stuff. So everyone out there who knows about him and his music, please help me convice him that this is the right thing to do. Everyone should get to hear his beautiful playing. I am not just saying that b/c I am his gf either. You out there know who you are...I can even give some of you his email address and you can tell him directly that he should do this.
Thank you to all of you in advance.

What the HECK are you doing??

So I have learned many things living in Colorado. For example; Colorado is a red state, Mtns are beautiful but they don't replace the ocean, there isn't always snow, and the drivers here are terrible. Really they are some of the worst drivers I have been around. I can't beleive there aren't more accidents here. I have driven on the east coast and they may be crazy but they know some of the simple rules of driving. For example; you need to speed up when getting on the highway. When the traffic is going 80 mph, 45 just ain't going to cut it. I mean COME ON!!!!!!!!
The best is the fact that no one here seems to understand what a 4 way stop is. It really isn't that hard people. I have been cut off more times at 4 way stop then on the highway.
I know, this seems like a stupid rant, but as a commuter this is a big part of my day. It is always an ordeal getting to and from work.
So please this is a plea to all those drivers out there...look over a driving manual and learn to drive. You will make lives easier all around.
One more thing....this is Colorado...learn to drive in snow, just b/c you drive a big ass truck doesn't mean that you can drive as fast as you can in the snow.

Thank you....I am done now.

Love to all

Is that snow!?

So I hear that snow is headed my way...hmmm I should be happy but that means the commute from hell.
I love snow don't get me wrong, but only when I have a choice whether I go out in it or not. Now for living in Colorado, I sure haven't seen as much snow as I would expect.
In the midwest you get snow a lot, but obviously if you don't live in the mtns here in CO you get none.
Go figure! Now I know that weather people are usually wrong, so lets hope this is true. I know we need to moisture, but damnit let it rain.
Enough of my snow talk...it is boring but I just wanted to mention just a little something about it.
I hope that this day finds everyone well...I am in a strange state but that is not unusual for me.
Since I have little to say today I will leave you with a poem.

Goodness

Ok so there are several reasons why I should not be allowed near a computer when I am drunk and the previous post is a good reason. Plus I tend to email people random messages when I am drunk, almost like drunk-dialing but at least don't wake up anyone.
Ok doke..so after the hiatus I am once again back.
Work just interfers too much, too often.
Well I hope to have some more pics up on my blog soon...this Friday is going to turn out the be a party so I will have some good ones soon.
Other than that...there is nothing interesting going on here, Gabe and I are going to have a nice day off (when he decides to get outta bed).
Wow...there just isn't anything interesting going on here in Fort Fun, that makes me sad.
My whirlwind life has come to a standstill, but that is ok. Japan is coming up next summer and that is going to be like a 2 month party.
I know a little bit more about what I need to do to get the ball rolling on this little trip. I am getting more and more excited...eventhough it isn't until next summer. But it just can't come soon enough.
Here is a shrine that I am planning on going to. This is a shrine in Nikko, there are several other shrines here. I am hoping to be able to walk to grounds around this area. This is not only a vaca to party in Tokyo at some clubs but also to do some soul-searching. I am hoping to find some answers to my life here in Japan. We shall see...there are many places that I want to go...I am hoping to come back with a better sense of myself and my surroundings. I am hoping that I will be able to do this every couple of years, or just move there...who knows.
Well I have been hanging at the coffee shop for about two hours...it is probably time for me to jet.
I wish everyone a great day!
