First Snow of the Year

So I am right now looking out my window at the snow falling. True it is just a wet snow but I am sure that it will start collecting soon.
As a fan of warm weather and sunny skies; the first snow gives me mixed feelings.
While it is beautiful...it is also to fricking cold.
That about sums it up for me.
The one thing I am glad about this year is that I don't have to drive in it to get to work...talk about a great relief.

kumo naki tsuki no
akatsuki no sora; sayo makura
shigure mo kaze mo
yume samete

Not a cloud around the moon
in the sky at break of day.
Over my pillow,
it was rain showers and wind
that ended my dream.
