Slow on the Weekends

I am sitting here at work watching the time slowly click by.
I wonder where all the people are and then I look outside and see the sunshine and the cloudless sky and wonder no longer.
Soon I will be able to join all the rest of town in celebrating the wonderful day.
I can't wait to go on my run after work. Hopefully the temperature stays moderate or it is going to be a fun run.
I shall see if I can get Gabe to join me this afternoon. I don't want to run on the treadmill I want to be out and about.
I thought about going to the brewfest that is downtown this weekend, but I think that a lot of people will be there.
As fun as it would be...there will be too many drunk people hanging around and making it hard for everyone else to have a good time.
Sound like a downer huh? Well I have just started to realize the older I get that being completely unaware of what you are doing or saying is not always the way to have fun.
Call my crazy!!!!
I hope that everyone is out there enjoying the day and doing some fun.
I will be soon...in only 3 hours I will be off work and dancing in the sun.

Yeah, the brewfest would be fun if it wasn't a meeting place for the worst and dullest of northern Colorado. Good call avoiding that.

I have to admit that I never made it to the brewfest...as much as I like beer.

I went last year. It was cool as long as you like waiting in line for 45 minutes to get half a beer and then be surrounded by drunk frat guys and sorority girls.

Just save up for the grand-daddy of 'em all... the Great American Beer Festival at the end of September.

Can't go wrong with that one.
